*Juviderm®*

Juviderm® is an injectable gel indicated for correction of moderate to sever facial wrinkles and folds. As you age, your skin changes. For Example, it reduces production of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). Over time, the loss of HA in your skin results in facial wrinkles and folds, like those “parentheses” lines around your mouth. Juvederm® is the first smooth-consistency HA gel and the only HA filler that’s FDA approved to last up to 1 year with only 1 treatment. Schedule your complimentary consultation to see if Juviderm® is right for you.

::Cosmetic Bonding::

Bonding is a fast and affordable procedure for correcting many cosmetic dental problems. Your teeth can be whitened, lengthened or widened with cosmetic bonding. Eliminate gaps and spaces, repair chips and breaks and even straighten your teeth. Because your tooth structure is left intact, cosmetic bonding is not painful and doesn't harm the tooth. In most cases bonding requires only one visit with out the need for local anesthetic. Cosmetic bonding lasts for many years and can be easily repaired chairside if necessary.

::Crowns & Bridges::

When teeth have extensive decay or are broken, they may be too weak to endure a restorative filling. By placing a crown, which is a 360° cover over the remaining tooth structure, the function and esthetics is restored and the entire mouth has a balanced chewing force once again. Even when a single tooth is lost a fixed bridge, which is a false crown that spans the gap of the missing tooth is attached to teeth which are crowned on either side of the space, can be a beautiful and beneficial restoration. Fixed bridges help to retore and balance a normal bite. They help to prevent drifting and tilting of adjacent and opposing teeth. A fixed bridge will impede the onset of Periodontal Disease, and help prevent decay.

*Invisalign®*

Invisalign is a virtually invisible solution so you can smile during as well as after orthodontic treatment. Proven effective in both clinical research and in practices nationwide, Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of nearly undetectable Aligners. Invisalign straightens your teeth right before your eyes. By changing the series of clear removable aligners about every two weeks, your teeth will move, little by little, toward the smile you have always wanted.

::Sapphire® Tooth Whitening::

This professional teeth whitening treatment is fast, simple, remarkably effective, and long lasting. It's completely harmless to enamel, composite fillings and all other dental work. Sapphire® offers state-of-the-art technology to quickly whiten teeth and enhance personal appearance and esthetics. Not only does the Sapphire teeth whitening treatment get your teeth whiter, but it improves your oral health. Sapphire's light technology is able to remove those stains that have accumulated over years and kill harmful bacteria found in gingivitis and periodontal disease.

::Take Home Whitening::

If in office professional whitening is not for you, you may be interested in take home whitening trays. At your convenience we can take impressions of your teeth and use them to make a set of comfortable, cutom fitted trays. The trays are yours to take home and apply the whitening gel into and wear for half an hour to an hour at a time. After a minimum of three applications most people will see satisfying results, but you can continue additional applications at your leisure as often as you would like. Take home trays can also be used for future touch ups when important functions or social occasions demand your whitest smile, and are great for maintaining your white smile after having your teeth professionally whitened.

*Lumineers®*

Porcelain veneers, often referred to as dental veneers or laminates, are wafer thin shells of porcelain which are bonded onto the front side of teeth to make cosmetic improvement in their appearance. Porcelain veneers are routinely used to improve teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped, or misaligned. Lumineers® features a painless way to reshape and permanently whiten your teeth.

::Implant Dentistry::

Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some people dental implants offer a smile that look and feel very natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of appointments, a dental implant is a small titanium screw like fixture that serves as the replacement for the root portion of a missing natural tooth. The dental implant is placed in the bone of the upper or lower jaw. After the placement, the implant has to fuse with the bone and serves as a base for individual replacement teeth, bridges or a denture. Implants offer stability because they fuse to the bone (titanium is one of the best materials to intergrate with natural bone). Intergration of the implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also find the secure fit more comfortable than conventional substitutes.

::Surgical/Non-Surgical Periodontics::

We are able to provide our patients with treatments that can increase the longevity of your teeth and bone structure. Non-Surgical Periodontics is preventative therapy intended for patients that have signs and symptoms of periodontal disease. This course of treatment allows our hygienists to thoroughly clean and remove calculus and bacteria far below the gum line that regular cleanings can't offer. These bacteria can cause bad breath, bone loss, tooth loss, and infections within the mouth. Root Planning and scaling coupled with diligent home care can put a stop to periodontal disease without the need for surgery.

Surgical Periodontics is treatment intended for patients that have severe periodontal disease that does not recover or improve with Non-Surgical therapies due to the advancement of the condition. Our office can provide top quality and gentle periodontal surgery, by our highly skilled and qaulified Periodontist, for those patients that require such treatment.

::Root Canal Therapy::

Root Canal treatment, also known as endodontic therapy, is probably the most objectionable of all dental procedures, but the reputation of pain typically associated with having a root canal is really not deserved. This procedure is uncomplicated and allows our patients to retain their natural teeth as long as possible. Root Canal treatment is performed when the nerve of a tooth is too diseased to be saved and must be removed. This means replacing the diseased or dead nerve with a substance that will help preserve the function of the tooth. Modern techniques have made this tooth saving procedure much more effortless and painless and here at Dr. Grodin's office we put into practice those techniques.

::Tooth Colored/Composite Fillings::

Tooth-Colored fillings also called composite fillings are made from ceramic particles and when applied and formed can restore the natural appearance of decayed or previously restored teeth. A composite filling usually only requires one visit during which the tooth is prepared and restored. An advantage of composite fillings, as compared to other dental restorations, is that they require less removal of the remaining healthy tooth structure. This is due to the composite material's natural ability to chemically and mechanically bond and adhere to tooth structure. This procedure is an affordable and healthy way to restore decayed, fractured, or previously restored teeth.

::Full & Partial Dentures::

If you've lost all or some of your natural teeth, whether from periodontal disease, tooth decay or injury, Full or partial dentures can replace your missing teeth and your smile. Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag, making a person look older. You'll be able to eat and speak, things that people often take for granted until their natural teeth are lost. Full dentures are constructed to replace all teeth in an arch (upper, lower, or both), and can be placed immediately after constructed or shortly after the removal of any existing teeth to be replaced. Partial dentures are constructed to replace multiple missing teeth in an arch and have clasps that attach to one or more of the existing adjacent teeth.

::Digital X-rays::

Dental x-ray examinations provide valuable information that your hygienist and dentist could not collect otherwise. With the help of radiographs (the proper term for pictures taken with x-rays), we can look at what is happening beneath the visible oral tissues. They pose a far smaller risk than many undetected and untreated dental problems. Through technological advancements we are now able to provide this invaluable service using digital x-rays. The reduction in radiation exposure offered by digital radiography is usually 70 to 80 percent less, and at times even more. This allows multiple images to be taken for the same radiation exposure involved in a single image obtained via conventional radiography. This reduction in radiation is especially important in implant placement or difficult endodontic therapy, in which multiple images are frequently necessary.
