Shay Markovitch, DDS
An Israeli-born dentist and married with three children, Dr. Markovitch started his training in cosmetic dentistry over 20 years ago in Israel. He continued his training in the United States at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, as well as in countless continuing education courses.
His belief is that informed patients are better prepared to make the right decision regarding their oral health and well-being. Therefore, he takes the time to thoroughly explain all the stages of the treatment to his patients, as well as what options are available in modern dentistry.
Dr. Shay Markovitch is a certified Invisalign® and Lumineers® provider. Utilizing his skills to create beautiful smiles for his patients is one of his priorities because he believes that a smile is a mirror to the soul. When not performing dentistry, Dr. Markovitch enjoys sports, specifically soccer and basketball; however, he usually prefers to spend his time with his wonderful wife and three children.
Lawrence Grodin, DDS
Dr. Lawrence Grodin has been practicing dentistry in Wappingers Falls since 1987. He received his dental degree from New York University School of Dentistry in 1983, graduating in the top quarter of his class. A member of the American Dental Association, the Ninth District Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Newburgh Dental Society, and the Dutchess County Dental Society, Dr. Grodin is committed to both furthering his education and staying current on the latest dental innovations and techniques. He is a certified provider of Lumineers®, Invisalign®, JUVÉDERM®, and BOTOX®.
Dr. Grodin has been providing patients with quality dental care in the Hudson Valley for over 25 years, and he has been voted a “Top Dentist of the Hudson Valley” by his peers every year since 2008. He especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry, soft tissue laser therapy, and using the latest rotary techniques in endodontics.
Dr. Grodin’s wife, Joani, has been by his side for over 30 years, and they have four children together. In his spare time, Dr. Grodin enjoys boating, skiing, playing tennis, and reading.
Sid Tucker, DDS
Dr. Sid Tucker received his dental degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1999. He then obtained a Certificate in Periodontology and a Master of Science degree from Columbia University in 2002. Since 2006, Dr. Tucker has been providing his expertise in periodontology and implant dentistry to our patients in Wappingers Falls, NY.
Dr. Tucker was accepted as a Nobel Biocare Dental Implant Fellow at Columbia University. As a fellow, Dr. Tucker was involved in the placement of implants for patients with very complex dental implant cases, and he was a Clinical Instructor in Columbia University’s Dental Implant Program. Dr. Tucker is a past president of the Rockland County Dental Society, and he is currently the Rockland County representative for the Ninth District Dental Society. Dr. Tucker is also a member of many other dental organizations, such as the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, and the International Congress of Implant Dentistry.
He is married to Dr. Geri-Lynn Waldman, a pediatric dentist in Middletown, New York, and they have two children. In his free time, Dr. Tucker enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Debbie Gortler, DMD
Dr. Deborah Gortler is a three time graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from dental school in 2004. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weil Cornell Medical Center and then postgraduate training in Endodontics at UPENN. Following completion of her Endodontic program, Dr. Gortler settled in New York City.
Dr. Gortler is committed to providing her patients with precision in her technique as well as gentle hands. She finds satisfaction in doing root canals in order to help alleviate her patients’ pain. She also loves working with people.
Adam Arnoldt, DDS
Dr. Adam Arnoldt attended Union College as a biology major. He then matriculated into the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was rewarded his D.D.S.
Dr. Arnoldt spent a year at Westchester Medical Center in a general practice resident in dentistry. This exposure to the hospital environment and surgery lead to a desire to further his career and scope of practice. After finishing his one-year residency he was accepted into a one-year program as a Chief Resident at Albert Einstein School of Medical and received a certificate in General Dentistry.
Dr. Arnoldt entered a four-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Westchester Medical Center. His surgery experience ranges from trauma to full facial reconstruction and cosmetics. Dr. Arnoldt now practices full scope Oral & Maxillofacial surgery.
